We've missed you, The Internet
April 21, 2008
Wow! Five months since the last post. That's a long time. But that's not to say that we haven't been busy. Here's a quick breakdown of the last five months:
December, 2007
- Participated in the Wild WordPress Weekend with our good friend Reid Young.
- We worked with Reid to design, develop and implement eight WordPress templates for a client of his. In addition to the templates, Eric coded two custom WordPress plugins to be used with several of the new themes. The entire project was completed in about 72 hours. We didn't sleep much that weekend. It was like being in college again.
- Launched a new site for American Gate Entry Systems.
- AGES had recently changed owners and the new one wanted a presence on the web. The company installs, repairs and sells parts for gate entry security systems. We put together a site that would allow visitors to learn more about the company, submit a request for an estimate and browse AGES's inventory.
- Traveled back home to Indiana to celebrate Christmas and New Year's because we love our friends and families... also, because they refused to ship our Christmas presents to us.
January, 2008
- Worked with the Art Association of Harrisburg to offer online tickets sales for their Bal Masque event.
- The Art Association of Harrisburg wanted to make tickets to their annual event available for purchase online. The key for the Art Association was to keep it simple for their users. Our solution was to design a sales page that implemented a PayPal check out system.
- Celebrated Eric's 26th birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's.
- Unfortunately, we had to leave when he threw a little temper tantrum because they wouldn't let him try on the mouse suit.
February, 2008
- Had first print ad appear in the program for the Art Association of Harrisburg's Bal Masque.
- The Art Association of Harrisburg gave us a free full page ad for the work we did with them in January. Christopher put together this ad: Bal Masque ad.
- Received a free spot on the Eye Vertex digital signage advertising network.
- Eye Vertex came across our stuff and was so impressed that they offered us free air time on their digital signage network. They had been receiving mostly static images and wanted us to put together something that could show off what their product could do. Immanuel created this 10 second ad: Eye Vertex Spot.
March, 2008
- Designed new front-end interface for Olepta.com.
- Because of a reference from E. James O'Kelly over at RailsJitsu, we got hooked up with Olepta.com. This site is kind of like a Facebook for medical professionals. They're still in the development stages, but are very close to a launch. Check out the design work we did here, here and here.
- Traveled to New York City for Christopher's wedding at the Goethe Institut.
- Immanuel got lost on the subway on his way to the bachelor party and ended up riding the A train between the Bronx and lower Manhattan for 4 hours with a homless man named "Gus." Immanuel learned a lot about life that night.
April, 2008
- Paid taxes for the first year of our existence. That was painful...
- Posted this news entry.
WeHaventTheTime launches top secret project for anythingbutipod.com
November 21, 2007
After several months of top secret development, WHTT, has released their first fully functional Ruby on Rails application for anythingbutipod.com.
Eric, who wrote many thousands of lines of code from scratch, worked closely with the head honcho at abi, Grahm Skee, to deliver exactly what he was looking for. The abi Comparison Database allows users to browse through and search for specific MP3 players. Users can learn about individual players, or compare up to four players side by side. This is the perfect tool for anyone searching for that special holiday gift.
You can check out the Ruby on Rails web app here: abi >> Compare MP3 Players.
WeHaventTheTime launches the new and improved misticriver.net
November 1, 2007
This week, WHTT, put the finishing touches on and launched the latest version of misticriver.net.
misticriver.net is dedicated to the iRiver brand of portable media players. And they have quite a following in their message boards. Who knew so many people were so fanatical about an MP3 player?
Special thanks to Jeff Hill, the dude behind the scenes at misticriver.net, for being such a great client to work with.
Hey, Julie
September 16, 2007
The dudes at WHTT would like to welcome and introduce our new Crackerjack of Sales and Marketing, Julie Bancroft. Her professional experience, an amalgamation of marketing, advertising, public relations, and print design, will be a huge asset to the growth and development of WeHaventTheTime.

3-2-1... Launch!
September 5, 2007
Last week, WeHaventTheTime launched the all-new version of the Anything But iPod website. New logo, new color scheme, updated forums, and more over the site's existing Movable Type CMS. In the background, we are still working on a few features and upgrades for the site, but we will post more about those when they launch in the near future. For now, though, you can find more about our work on the site via our portfolio or at the new abi site itself. But be prepared to learn all you ever wanted to know about Digital Audio players (except iPods).

Done and Doing
August 10, 2007
Well, here we are, in the hot and sweaty midst of August. Outside the humidity is at 100% (or more) and the temperature has made its home in the 90s. But inside the A/C is raging, and we are keeping our cool (in more ways than one).
Last night was our inaugural Laser Tag experience, and we are happy to say that we schooled about 8 visibly upset elementary school children and their 16 equally unhappy parents. But those kids needed to learn a lesson, and the WeHaventtheTime posse were the perfect teachers. "And what were our codenames?" you might be asking. Why, TopherBook, F4110UT, and Fro of Death, of course. We'll leave you to determine who was who.
When we're not destroying the esteem of laser-wielding pre-teens, we're in the office taking care of business. We recently finished a project for Red Devil Energy Drink, including a pretty amazing MySpace profile. The Red Devil team were very happy with our work, and we were very happy in return. At the moment we are in the thick of a redesign for the Anything But iPod website, which is also going wonderfully. We'll post reviews of both projects in our portfolio as soon as we get some time.
Welcome!

Thanks for stopping in. You are looking at the most excellent homepage of WeHaventTheTime. We're in the business of getting down. And designing. Getting down with design. We do all kinds of design work from web design to advertisements to clothing design. We can prove it too. Just check out our portfolio.
If you need some design work done, we can help. You should head over to the contact page and drop us a line. We're usually pretty good about replying quickly, but sometimes we can't pull ourselves away from Digg, Super Deluxe, or Clark and Michael so please forgive us if it takes us more than 24 hours to get back to you.
Maybe you're curious as to why the heck we call ourselves WeHaventTheTime? The answer to that question and more can be found in our about section. We also have pictures of ourselves up there so you can see why we're called "the most handsome design team in Midtown Harrisburg."
