Work Experience

Web Design & Development Manager

I lead a team of three other developers - managing their work load and ensuring that each was on task to meet project milestones and deadlines. I engineered three RoR applications from conception through launch, and provided design recommendations for two additional projects. I put into place standard project development and management practices for the team based on agile development methodologies, and encouraged the team to learn about and use the latest technologies in our development. Additional duties included drafting scopes of work, approving project estimates, communicating daily with clients and partners, and meeting with potential new clients.
